Saturday night is never fair to anyone ...

Heyyyyyyyy,

i'm writing this aching like hell ... uuughhh..

I went to see my favourite band (every time i die) last night,  they came all the way over from Buffalo NY to play a small gig in a shitty little place called the slade rooms in wolverhampton (which just happens to be where i played my last gig).

Anyway, it was anything i could have ever dreamed and more,  i was at the front all night,  the singer gave me the mic, i met the band ... just good times. Infact my friend that couldn't make it decided that we're going to their show this sunday in sheffield .. so yet again i'm sooo excited all over again.

Heres a picture of me with all the band members and the view from where i was standing ..

Anyways .. The original song i was going to show you is called,
Saturday night is never fair to anyone - by Samuraj Cities  but the band is that small that i can't actually find a link or a video or anything that will play on here, so if you have spotify, search for it.  You wont be dissapointed.

promise :)

so i shall introduce you to a different song,

this is by a band called, I can make a mess like nobodys business .. enjoy :)

Killing for love.

Oh man what a week.

I'm sick to death of looking at visas for new zealand, I'm so sure that they are just trying to confuse whoever is trying to get there,  I'm not going to bore you with the details but today i applied for a working holiday visa which lets me stay in the country for 23 months and work for 12 months.

I applied online and straight away i was approved pending a phone call for them to have a chat and find out what i was like,  anyway after going through all the questions again on the phone everything was looking promising until ....  she asked,
"have you had a job offer"
"yes" i replied
"fantastic, how long for"
"well permanent, pending a 3 month trial"
"oh,  you cant have this visa if you have a permanent position offer"

REALLY!!!  REALLYYYY!!!!

so now, i have to pay over £3000 for a skilled worker visa which takes up to 6 months to be accepted for, which i didn't really want to do, since I'm on a 3 month trial at the job i have landed, i would much rather get the trial over and then apply for the skilled visa which grants me residency ... that makes so so  sooo much sense,  it even said on the website that i could do this, but after i explained this on the phone she said, no, we cant do this, you will have to call the embassy again and ask them.

ugh .. .nightmare.  i feel like its never going to happen, and its just one setback after another ...

but .. here's a song for anyone that actually read all this to listen to.

cheers :)

Sheets

Its been a while ..  a long while ... so much has happened, so much has changed.

The biggest thing is that I will soon be living in new zealand.  crazy.

This will soon be my home,  I never ever thought that i would leave cannock no matter how much i wanted to.  Ive always loved exploring new places and i guess this is just gonna be another adventure,

anyway,  small entry today, but i plan to keep going with new things.

and ill leave on a new song that's worth a listen .. or a thousand listens.
